From the South – February 2010
It as again my pleasure to serve all of you at this months Stated Meeting Dinner. We served handmade lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and chocolate cake for desert. Although it takes a little longer to prepare fresh meals I have found them to be better tasting and cheaper. I would like to personally thank the Eastern Star for serving and giving me much needed direction. I would like to especially thank Nancy Caverly and Linda Hix who gave me valuable insight into my duties as Junior Warden. All the rest of you that helped serve and clean up I apologize for omitting your name this time but you know who you are and I appreciate all you did.
It is my intent to put together a standing reservation list for all Stated Meeting dinners so that I can get a more accurate count of how much food to buy. Please contact me by Monday, February 1st for dinner reservations for the February Stated Meeting!
Finally, I would like to thank all the brothers that have supported me as Junior Warden. It is my goal to provide the best food possible at the lowest costs to the lodge. Suggestions and comments are always welcome.
